The Sash Windows showroom in Lockwood opened in 1992 and supplies products from leading local manufacturers. We are an affiliated member of Network VEKA. Our PVC-u conservatories, windows, doors, fascias and soffits have been voted as No 1 overall by the window industries (amongst fabricators, specifiers and architects – covering the Private and Public Sectors and in commercial projects of all sizes) for the 2nd year running, making us a trusted name.
We have been established for 18 years, longer than many other similar businesses in the area, and only use top quality materials and all our fitters have a minimum of 15 years experience. Windows do not come with a badge and often people do not realise that, elsewhere, they may not be getting quality products. With Sash Windows you are guaranteed to get quality - that is all we supply. We are a local, family run company. We offer a professional and friendly service with a personal touch. We have learnt over the years in this industry that looking after our customers brings loyalty. Nothing is too much trouble for us and we will go out of our way to ensure you get exactly what you want.
It’s very unusual these days to find a company that would rather not sell you anything, than sell you the wrong product. We are very conscientious, and provide the right product and service for our customer and their needs.
Sash Windows Designers have won a prestigious national award at the 2009 Conservatory Design Competition, run as part of the Glassex Exhibition. “This is a national competition and there were a lot of much larger companies who entered. We were absolutely delighted to win the award in the face of some tough competition “, said Keith Cosgrove, Sales Director. “It proves that by sticking to our principles, never using inferior products, or cutting corners and working closely with our customers we can achieve great things”
All our Installation Engineers, Surveyors and Service Engineers are permanent employees and have attended specific courses to ensure they are fully trained and qualified. This means all our jobs are installed to the highest industry standards on every job. Our Engineers have identification cards with them at all times. When we do require specialist building contractors i.e. Plumbers, Electricians and Plasterers, we use reputable, local people who maintain our high standards.
Our Management team has achieved NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Sales Management, Customer Service and Team Leading. “I believe that investing in our people is investing in our future” said Kim Howe, Office Manager, “Our staff are our biggest asset.”
